Giving Back to the Communities We Serve
At LaserCycle USA, we are grateful for the growth and success we’ve enjoyed over the last two decades.
We also feel grateful to be able to give back to the communities where we live and work. We invest in numerous non-profits and other worthy causes we come to know in the various markets where we work. As a company committed to sustainability, we realize that goes beyond merely being “green.”
For us, the ultimate sustainability is giving back to the communities we serve, by fostering a more humane and enduring society.
The Highest Image Foundation
As a result of our desire to invest in the communities we serve, we created The Highest Image Foundation, a non-profit organization led by LaserCycle USA Co-Founder Melissa Malcolm-Peck. “One of my favorite stories, that I read to my kids while they were little, was the Ugly Duckling,” says Melissa. “I love the way that little dejected duckling, who just doesn’t seem to fit in with the others, grows to become a magnificent white swan.
I have a strong, core belief that there is a Highest Image within each of us…the one our Creator holds for us, and that when we are at our best, and doing our best, we are living out that image. What’s more, when we have that highest image for our fellow human beings and all of life, even trying to help bring that image out, we are firmly on track with our life’s work.”
Out of this conviction comes the Foundation’s work of meeting the needs of the most precious and vulnerable members of our community: children at risk, the elderly, and neglected or abused animals.
